While it may all be familiar to us, check-in isn’t a “pre-event” step for guests. Instead, it’s the first point of contact that guests will have with you and your style - it’s the first step in setting the tone for the whole event.

Using iPads for Event Check in
iPad check-in can be a brilliant way to offer a slick & streamlined event check-in solution.
Because tablet devices can be deployed quickly, setup time is minimised, making ipad check-in the ideal onsite registration tool for cocktail parties and evening receptions where, often, there is minimal setup time at the venue. Ipad event check in also works brilliantly with large-scale events due to the speed and accuracy with which delegates can be found.
Wireless connectivity and long battery life also make them ideal for situations where fixed, cabled positions would be problematic.
How Does it All Work?
Our iPad check in solution works on a “name search” basis, where staff need simply enter someone’s details, confirm their identity and check them in instantly. This way of event check in is also very flexible and allows for instant updates, edits and changes to badges and tickets.
These iPads will be connected to one of our full-colour expo printers. Once staff have confirmed the delegate’s identity, their badge will be printed in a matter of seconds.
Resilient Event Check-in
Just like the computers and scanners that we use at events, our iPad check-in equipment communicates directly with our dual on-site servers and runs on our own WIFI network. The servers then generate the badges and send them to print to the allocated printer. We are not reliant on internet connectivity or venue WIFI and we are not restricted to certain kinds of badges or printers.
Full System Integration
We have optimised our event check-in systems to work brilliantly on iPads and have developed customised iPad check-in screens that are simple for staff to use. The devices easily integrate with all of our event check-in and badge printing solutions, including full-colour, double-sided exhibition badges.
Our iPad check in solution syncs delegate data directly from our back-office system, which holds all the necessary information that we need to know about your attendees.
The data can come directly from our online registration system, designed in your bespoke branding, or can came from an API integration with another registration provider, such as Eventbrite or Eventsforce.
